VII. annual Security Management Conference
On May 25th-26th, VII. annual international Security Management Conference will take place in National Technical Library in Prague.This year´s conference will be held under the auspices and with the personal participation of the Minister of Interior, Ing. Martin Pecina, MBA , as well as 1.Deputy Minister, col. JUDr. Jiří Komorous. The organizer of this prestigous professional and social event is traditionally Czech branch of ASIS International, and the academic auspices provides again the Police Academy of Czech republic in Prague.
This year you can expect very diverse topics of discussions and lessons, that will cover current issues in security sector. Concrete topics of lessons and lecturers themselves are still discussed (more in Program), but now it is clear that the conference will speak on:
- Plagiarism – topic,that goes through all past conferences, will host again both representatives of state adminstration (Czech Trade Inspection, Customs Administration, etc), and owners of trademarks and specialized companies focused on the fight against counterfeiting
- Fight against corruption – this topic opens Mr.Pecina, Minister of the Interior
- The sector of private security services – legislature, trends in business, current market state, progress in salaries and pricing
- Prevention of deceit
- Professional training in security
- Human factor as one of the pillars of security
- Security at airports
- Practical application of dat protection and issues related to the operation of camera systems
- IT Security and possible convergency of physical security
Conference concept remains similar from the previous year - the conference is divided into two days, the first day lectures will be held, and then the gala party with winning ceremony of Security manager and Security project of the year 2009 will take place.
Concept of second day will be innovated. Participants can choose from three halls. Lecture, panel discussion or educational lesson of Czech chapter of ASIS International.
